Quick answers on orders, shipping, returns, warranty and looking after your gear.
No. We think buying online should be as easy as walking into a shop, so you can check out as a guest.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD), and every option available to you is shown at checkout.
Every piece of Crashpad gear is designed by our team on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. Part of the range is cut and sewn in our own Coolum Beach workshop, and the rest is made to our specs by trusted manufacturing partners. Read our story.
US shipping is based on the total weight of your order, in USD:
US duties are calculated separately and shown as their own line at checkout. More detail on our shipping page.
These are Australian business days (Monday to Friday, Queensland time). If you order both, we'll usually ship them together.
Every US order ships from our warehouse in Australia with Australia Post on a tracked service. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes around 7 to 12 days, depending on where you are in the US. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
Yes. Once your order is on its way you'll get a tracking link by email, so you can follow it right to your doorstep (or campsite).
Not seeing it? Check your junk folder first, then contact us and we'll check the email address on your order.
Email info@crashpadgear.com as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help. Our team is in Australia, so orders are often packed while it's still night-time in the US.
We can't change the address on an order that has already been dispatched.
If a parcel comes back to us (for example it wasn't collected, or the address was incomplete), we'll be in touch once it arrives to confirm your address and arrange to send it out again.
Yes, but at checkout, not at your door. US duties and import charges are calculated at checkout and shown as their own line, so you can see exactly what you're paying. We prepay them when your order ships, so there are no customs bills and no fees on delivery. On mobile, tap Order summary at the top of checkout to see the full breakdown.
Double swags and stretchers can't be ordered online for US delivery, but we can quote freight by courier. More detail on our shipping page.
Changed your mind? You can return or exchange your gear within 30 days of your order, as long as it's unused, in its original condition and in the original packaging. Return shipping to our warehouse in Australia is at your cost, and original shipping and duties aren't refunded.
Full details on our returns page.
We usually process returns within 24-48 hours of receiving the item. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, and we'll email you once it's done.
The warranty covers faulty manufacturing, workmanship and materials. See what's covered and what isn't on our warranty page.
Fill in the claim form on our warranty page with your order number and a few photos of the problem. In most cases we can assess your claim from photos, and our team will be in touch within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
We hope it never happens, but if it does, email us at info@crashpadgear.com with your order number and a few photos, and we'll make it right.
Yes. Set your swag up, remove the mattress and thoroughly soak the outside canvas with water, focusing on the seams and stitching. This lets the thread and canvas swell and take up any potential leaks in the stitching.
Let it dry completely, particularly the seams, as it's the drying that seals them. Repeat the process twice. Your swag comes with full instructions.
Condensation happens when there's a temperature difference between the inside and outside of a closed space with a waterproof barrier in between, just like the inside of your windows on a cold night.
No swag can eliminate it completely, but opening a window slightly for airflow on cold nights makes a big difference.
Use cold water and a soft brush or sponge on the canvas and PVC base. Clean the zips regularly with a soft brush and a damp cloth.
Don't use soap or detergent, insect or pesticide sprays, petrol, oils, solvents or incompatible water repellents. They can damage the materials and will void your warranty.
Make sure it's completely dry first to stop mildew forming, then store it off the floor in a dry place, out of direct sunlight.
If you have to pack it up wet, set it up again as soon as you get to your next camp or home and let it dry out fully.
No matches for that one. Try another word, or get in touch and we'll sort it out.
