At Crashpad, we ship fast, we ship tough, and we keep it simple. Here’s what you need to know before your gear hits the road.

Why We Charge Shipping

We’ve worked hard to keep our freight rates as low and fair as possible. Most of our gear is bulky, heavy or oversized, (even our standard gear)which means it costs a lot more to move than small parcel items. Carriers charge based on weight and cubic size, not just distance. 

Rather than inflating product prices to advertise “free shipping,” we keep our gear priced honestly and charge freight separately. It’s the most transparent and fairest way to do it.

Standard Gear Charges

We've kept it simple and fair:

  • $19 - for the first standard item;
  • $5 - for each additional standard item in the same order.

Standard Gear is all of our products, excluding Swags, Stretchers, Sleeping Bags and Awnings.

Bulky Gear Charges

Our bigger gear - Swags, Stretchers and Sleeping Bags costs plenty to get it around this big country of ours. To keep it simple we charge a simple flat rate, these are:

  • $29 - per single swag, stretcher and sleeping bag
  • $39 - per double swag and awning.

We've done our best to keep these costs low while making sure your gear gets to you safely and on time.

Key Delivery Points

We ship Australia-wide using Australia Post, Direct Freight, Aramex, Toll and StarTrack (depending on product size and destination).

  • PO Boxes: We can ship to PO Boxes except for Double Swags, Stretchers, and Awnings as those are just too big for Australia Post to handle. Everything else? No problem.
  • Authority to Leave (ATL): We’ll leave your parcel in a safe spot where possible. 
  • Re-delivery fees: We don’t play those games. Crashpad never charges a re-delivery fee, no matter what.

Dispatch Times

Our Australian-made gear is built in-house by our local team on the Sunshine Coast. Because we make it ourselves (and we make a lot of it), we can’t always promise a same-day dispatch, but we move fast.

  • Australian-made items: generally ship within 7 business days of your order.
  • Other In-stock items: usually ship the same or next business day.

You’ll receive tracking as soon as your order’s on its way. Keep an eye on your junk folder as occasionally the email gremlins play games. If you’ve ordered both Australian Made and in-stock products, we’ll usually wait and ship together, but if you’re desperate for one part sooner, just reach out and we’ll do our best to help you. 

Tracking Your Order

You’ll get a tracking link via email once your order’s packed. From there you can follow your order right to your doorstep (or campsite).
