OUR VISION.

Crashpad was established with you in mind. That’s right, you! Our simple vision is two fold, firstly: to provide you with the best bang for buck adventure gear on the market today and secondly: through the products we develop and the marketing we undertake to inspire you to get out and seek your own adventure, or what we call ‘The Crashpad Life Style’.

WE LIVE IT.

The outdoors is what we live for. Our team has decades of experience in all sorts of outdoor activities, camping, four wheel driving, boating, rock climbing, fishing, hiking, even outdoor survival. Our products and designs are a culmination of those experiences. We know what works and what doesn’t, so when you are using Crashpad, you know that you have the very best product for your outdoor adventure. Crashpad products are by adventurers for adventurers.

We think about all the details and the avoidable problems so that you don’t have to. It’s the attention to detail that makes a great product, the little things you don’t notice because it all comes together to perform as it should. The detail comes from years of experience using adventure products. We understand and know what works and we incorporate this knowledge into our designs. We also do it with an unrivalled style in mind.

QUALITY IN. QUALITY OUT.

We don’t take chances with quality. All our zips, textiles, poles, threads, clips, buckles, toggles and raw materials are trialled meticulously. The result is a product that does what it is meant to, and holds true to the sum of its parts.

THE CRASHPAD CAMPING AND ADVENTURE GEAR PHILOSOPHY.

Every Crashpad product must meet our ‘Camping and Adventure Gear Philosophy’, if it doesn’t then the product either gets scrapped, altered or tweaked until it does. So what is this philosophy?

Camping and adventure gear must be:

  • Functional: The product must not only do the job it was intended for but do it in such a way as to enhance your camping or adventure experience.
  • Affordable: We know how hard it is to earn a buck so we keep our prices down and rely on word of mouth to sell our gear.
  • Durable: It’s not enough for the product to just do its job, it must do it again and again. It’s what we call the “Crashpad value test”.
  • Simple to use: If you can’t set it up in the dark or without a text book of instructions it is too complex.
